Dear CTOG members,
The WBA proudly presents the CTO of The Year Award, recognizing visionary minds shaping wireless connectivity worldwide. This award honors those who've pushed Wi-Fi technology's boundaries, transforming how we connect and collaborate globally.
To participate successfully in the Wi-Fi Industry Achievement Awards, we require the following from all entrants:
Eligibility: This award is distinct from the other categories of the WBA Annual Industry Awards. To be eligible for entry, the nominee must be member of the WBA CTO Group.
Entry Title: Each submission must include a descriptive title.
Main Entry Length: Main entries should encompass 500 to 1000 words.
Submission Fee: Submission for the award requires a non-refundable payment of US$350.
The entries will be subject to review by the esteemed members of the WBA CTO Group, who will then proceed to the voting phase.
Voting Process:
- Eligible Voters: Only members of the WBA CTOG are eligible to participate in the voting process.
- Voting Period: The voting window will be open from 2 October to 10 October. Members can cast their votes at any time during this period.
- Voting Process: Each CTOG member can vote for a single nominee based on their contributions, innovation, leadership, and impact on the Wi-Fi industry.
- Anonymous Voting: The voting process is anonymous to ensure fairness and impartiality. The identity of voters will not be disclosed.
- Nominee Voting: Nominees are not eligible to vote for themselves.
Winner Announcement
- The nominee with the highest number of votes will be declared the Wi-Fi CTO of The Year from CTOG.
- Announcement: The winner will be officially announced on 25 October 2023 at the Wireless Global Congress in Paris.
The submission deadline is September 25, 2023.
